I will tell you that I bought a box of wild flower seeds for $1.00 at Walmart and it claimed to do 10x10 area, so we sprinkled it in our 10x10 flower box and lightly covered them, and I will say I am very impressed with the results and think I will be going back to buy a bigger box to do some other areas instaed of the roll-n-grow. It also seems to me, if you have a really large garden why not have a little help and a few surprises. As for colour, I got many and the assortment of different flowers was pleasant.
