What a beautifully-coloured flower … it looks as if it is Narrowleaf Blue-eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium angustifolium).

Kate, thanks for the plant name on this one — I figured it had something to do with the grass, since that’s where it cropped up, but wasn’t sure.
