To market, two markets

The latest issue of Edible Iowa River Valley has hit the streets in Eastern Iowa. If you get your hands on a copy, you can check out my article, “To market, two markets: A conversation with the Market Masters of the Washington and Des Moines farmer’s markets.”

The issue includes other great articles on everything from Al Capone’s favorite rye whiskey (which is still being made in Iowa!) to a profile of The Carrot King. Lots of worthy reads and excellent food finds…plus a directory of all the farmer’s markets in the reading-and-eating area. Now that, my friends, is not a bad thing to have on hand.
