    Muum, I did not — I found them at an orchard stand in Pennsylvania. I haven’t tried delving into the world of pumpkin growing quite yet…

    They remember me of Laurel and Hardy, maybe they are the ones you call Bert and Ernie… Very funny anyway

    These pumpkins are cute and they really do look like Bert and Ernie. It is fun to go to the U-pick farm and look at all the different shapes of the pumpkins. My oldest grandson chose a very round and smooth one this year. It is almost perfect. The younger grandson chose one that had bumpy lumps all over it. He said it looked like it had a lot of warts, and it really did.

    Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed the photo of Bert and Ernie.

    Nikkipolani, that’s why I haven’t given it a try quite yet…I fear the take-over of the back yard!

    Chigiy, I didn’t even see it until my friend Betsy pointed it out to me. But it’s so true!

    Katesmudge, if they weren’t in Pennsylvania, I’d paint faces on them immediately.

    Mark, you crack me up…

    Vero, Laurel and Hardy are different — Bert and Ernie are Sesame Street characters — but they definitely resemble Laurel and Hardy, too!
