I’m all about the non-trad Thanxgiving dinner.
Two years ago, we made a rabbit ragu. The year before it was crispy duckling.

I’m thinking this icecream is another “to try”… and it might go nicely with my Krimmus plans as well.

Officially DROOLING!!! I may have to whip this up upon my return from Kaua’i. I’m thinking it would be delish with pumpkin bread, too. Maybe I’ll add it to my Xmas menu. We have some single-malt lovers who would be in 7th heaven.

Anita, it would go FABulously with walnut pie — definitely. Maple walnut is, indeed, my very favorite ice cream flavor. I just might have to go hunt down that pie of which you speak…or a recipe… :-)

Oh man, that sounds delicious.

I had a taste of walnut pie on Saturday — like pecan, with a gooey center — and it is haunting me. I already bought my pumpkin for Thanksgiving pie, but I am plotting to make a walnut pie for a later occasion. If I do, I will definitely pair it with your swoon-worthy fro-yo.
